We now have a decent sized party of 20 attending the Bird Observatory Lighthouse for the weekend.  Good Eh?

 

For those of you not quite sure where it is, the Bird Observatory is the the shorter all white lighthouse on the left as you approach the sharp left hander just before the Pulpit Inn.  This is bound to be a friendly weekend as you never know who you are going to share a bunk room with.  The rooms are on 3 or 4 levels and generally have  2 or 3 bunks.  There is a kitchen, and toilet facilities.  Plan to arrive around 1pm.

 

As always please bring stuff for Adrian to burn on the barbecue(s) and whatever booze you prefer. 

 

If anyone can ride, and would like to join Andrea, Chris and myself on Sunday morning for a canter around Portland please let me know, and we will try to fit you in. 

 

Word of warning.  Please DO NOT ask Chris about his new toy or the weekend is likely to last for a week at least.
